How to obtain licesne for VDEC EB apparatus
- It is obligatory to obtain a license to use EB apparatus alone
.
- It is possible, however, to use the apparatus under supervision and attendance of already-licensed person. All liability belongs to that licenced person and their professors.
- Follow the instructions to obtain license.
- Read agreement page. Also ask your hosting professor to read the agreement page.
- If your hostng professor doesn't have VDEC's WEB account,
subscribe: (http://www.vdec.u-tokyo.ac.jp/registration.html).
- Obtain
Takeda Super Cleanroom Access account. A seminar is
organized around four times per year. Contact Dr. Sugiyama
sugiyama(at)ee.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp or Mr. Nakamura
yoshio(at)sogo.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp.
- A person who wants to obtain his license
must have at least three times of training of operation under
supervision of already-licensed person (trainer).
Manuals (only accessible from U.Tokyo)should be looked through carefully.
- Learn
how to treat supplies such as chemicals.
- Learn
how to treat chemical waste tanks
- Fill in the application form by yourself and your trainer.
Then bring it to VDEC equipment responsible.
- After examination, license card and necessary accounts will be
issued.
- The trainer, who taught you remains the mentor so that
must work altoghether when the newcomer is in trouble.
In case of trouble, the user must examine if it is not the known
problem at first within his laboratory, then with his mentor.
